Optimal blood work readings is a service that Trovato Nutrition is proud to offer. Our facility does not draw blood. If a patient was interested, they would have to get blood drawn by their primary doctor or a place like Quest. Please see the list below for exactly what to ask for. Getting the standard one- to two-page report is not enough to get a full picture.

One the results are back, bring a copy to Trovato Nutrition. Please allow a week for a thorough reading and report to be created. We will call to set up an appointment to go over the results.

Too many times, doctors look at blood work, see that everything is within the provided reference ranges, and give a patient the “all clear.” These ranges are incorrect. The reference ranges are created by averaging all of the blood work together to come up with a standard range. But think about it… who typically gets blood work drawn? Sick people? The elderly? How often does a 20-40-year-old in perfect health go and get their blood drawn?

Trovato Nutrition looks at the blood work results and compares them to the optimal range. By altering what we are looking for, much more information starts to present itself. Also, by not viewing each marker by itself, we can start to draw comparisons and see the bigger picture. With this advanced way of reading typical blood work, Trovato Nutrition can draw some in depth conclusions that doctors often overlook.
