Crock Pot Chili
Chili is such a versatile meal.
It can be made in about 30 minutes, but it is even easier to combine all ingredients into a crock pot and let it simmer all day long. Chili can be made in bulk and be consumed throughout the week.
Most people add beans, but these can be easily omitted to create more of a keto chili.
Beef can be substituted for chicken or turkey.
Garnish with sour cream and cheese!

Grass-Fed Beef Chili
Ingredients:
• 1 lb grass-fed beef
• 1/2 chopped onion
• 1 can of fire roasted tomatoes
• Mushrooms
• Bacon (precooked in oven)
• 1 red pepper chopped
• 1 yellow pepper chopped
• 1/2 onion chopped
• Garlic powder to taste
• Chili powder to taste
• Redmond Real Salt or Pink Himalayan Salt
Optional Ingredients:
• 1 cup of good quality bone broth or water (if you want to thin out the chili. Do not add if you like a thicker texture.
• Sliced Jalapeno if you want to add a spicy kick.
• 1 Avocado sliced if you want to add some healthy fat.
• 1 can of black beans and 1 can of kidney beans
Chili is typically prepared with beans, so adding them is always an options. I choose to eliminate the beans to create more of a lower carb chili. In place of the beans, adding the suggested peppers, onions, and mushrooms helps bulk out the chili.
Turkey Sweet Potato Chili
Ingredients:
• 1 lb ground turkey
• 2 sweet potatoes chopped
• 1 can of fire roasted tomatoes
• 1 red pepper chopped
• 1 yellow pepper chopped
• 1/2 onion chopped
• 1 can of black beans
• Garlic powder to taste
• Chili powder to taste
• Redmond Real Salt or Pink Himalayan Salt
Sweet potato turkey chili is a delicious spin on traditional chili!
